Educational and Research Farm for Native Chickens

Introduction

One of the infrastructural projects in line with the Resistance Economy (relying on internal economic capacities and capabilities) and student entrepreneurship is the educational and research farm for native chicken production, which operates in the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University.

The educational and research farm for native chickens was inaugurated in October 2019 by the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Mansour Gholami.

This farm, with an area of two hectares and a budget of 600 million Tomans, has been established and is active in the fields of education, research, income generation, and entrepreneurship.

This farm has the capacity to raise 4000 laying hens (native pullet hens).
